I've been involved with some women lawyers. Smart women. They knew how to build a case bit by bit using evidence and logical argument.

I think the larger issue is that they're coddled so much by men throughout their lives that it doesn't make them effective leaders, i.e. they aren't questioned. Effective leaders can take questioning and even question themselves in order to improve.
That's not to say that men are impervious to being emotional leaders, but I think there's a higher inclination to be able to separate emotions and look at the facts.
