The difference between Trump and Bernie, for me, is $8,000 a year, and that's a shitload when you only make $34,000. With Hillary, things would be just about the same--I'd be paying about $300-$500 more. With Cruz, I'd be saving about $2,000 more. But that muppet-looking crazy old bastard wants me to pay for your college, and put me in the poorhouse because YOU made the shitty decision to take student loans without having a clue how to pay them back.
When it comes down to it, I care more about being able to make my way in the world than about presidential policy. It's wonderful that with Trump, I get the best of both. But when I think about how much support Bernie has, I'm honestly frightened. I don't want to be homeless again, guys. I don't want to have to depend upon the state just to eke out an existence. I don't want to be a fucking slave.I want to earn my own living, pay for my own shit and not for someone else's. I want to contribute to society how I see fit, not letting the government decide how best I can do it.
