Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman is expected Wednesday morning to announce whether he will charge two Minneapolis police officers in the fatal shooting of Jamar Clark.
Sources say the announcement will be made at 10:30 a.m. at the Hennepin County Government Center. Freeman had set a deadline of Thursday to make decision.
The 24-year-old Clark was shot Nov. 15 while struggling with two police officers. He died a day later. Police say Clark reached for a officer's gun. Witnesses say Clark was handcuffed. The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and the FBI have been investigating.
The dindus plan on gathering regardless of what the announcement is and essentially want the officers to be thrown in jail without trial.
