I'm curious if there are any legal ways for entry into Rojavan territory. But the area through Sulaymaniyah is impossible for joining the Rojavan military. From what I understand, the Iraqi Peshmerga is more or less an actual military of a country, while the Lions of Rojava are trying to establish their own country, Western Kurdistan. They also have forces in Nusaybin, fighting the Turkish military, but they're all basically dead men walking. Trying to get to Western Kurdistan from Iraq crosses you through hundreds of miles of hostile territory.
