This is why he uses the language "criminal illegal aliens" and "illegal aliens who commit crimes" as targets for deportation versus any/all illegals. He is clever and that language makes it so there are two classes of illegals: those who he will deport and those who he will ignore. There is a reason why he worked on GWB's capping crafting immigration policy.
I liked Cruz originally, but his own position, on his website, makes it clear he favors doing little (because if he were to win the primary he would need to pull a Romney and pivot to the middle, so he can't be straightforward and openly against deporting illegals).
Why does Trump refuse to debate Ted Cruz? As Donalds campaign continues s to nosedive, especially considering he has on staff a man accused of violently assaulting a woman, we need a discussion between Cruz and Trump about why trump associates with so many misogynist.
