I like the idea of unions, but I also think they have too much power, OP. I also think they need to rethink what they are, how they operate, and what they do for their members in the 21st century. I guess I'm for all the 'gay' stuff too. I also am a capitalist who likes the ACA which I consider it a good model for other areas of public policy like education. I support raising the minimum wage but I oppose it being a 'living' wage since it should be nothing to be aspired to.

This is not true. Next time you throw this word out (however jokingly and privately you may thing you are using this- in this era NOTHING is ever private), think about those who have struggled for the right to feel safe in their own country.
