looks like sask advance polling.
>>
>>69277791
best way to make the vote count. Lots of people will wait until saturday to go vote for the winning ticket. Why i was so sad that it was like a line up for a shitty ride at the fair.
>>
>>69275799
>drive down to the advanced voting location at about 3:15
>over thirty people waiting ti vote, line is stretching out of the building
>get back in my car (parked a block away because all stalls were taken) and decide to vote tomorrow

I mean I guess I'm glad because electoral participation is good, but that was a pain in the ass.
>>
>>69278560
That's double the turnout that was in my location and i am in 1 of our 2 actual cities lol. You should have waited in line and laid out some bantz while you waited.
>>
>>69278848
I'm not gonna wait in line for a fucking hour when I have five more days to vote, yet.
>>
>>69279259
Bridges or the Queen? Who are you planning on voting for and why? Are you voting for your local candidate or are you a party voter?
>>
HAHAHA I BET IF THE LINE WENT ON FOR MILES YOU COULD SEE THE WHOLE THING THOIGH BECAUSE SASKATCHEWAN IS FLAT JUST LIKE THAT CORNER GAS SHOW CORNER GAS SAID IN THE SONG

WASNT CORNER GAS JUST SO FUNNY, I WISH I LIVED IN RURAL SASKATCHEWAN JUST KIDDING

Toontown. I'm a Sask Party voter, hate the NDP and think things are a lot better off now than they were in '07. Dippers are probably gonna win my riding, though.

Regina, NDP voter. Plus i have met the person i voted for today. He is a decent guy. No matter how i voted, he will be re elected in a landslide. He has that Ralph Goodale effect. No matter how far right regina is, and it is, we have some token lefties to shove off to ottawa when shit needs to get done.

Probably why we are the capital :)

Only guy that's shown up at my door so far has been the Sask Party candidate, so if I was voting on personalities I'd have to go with him. Highest profile NDP MP in Regina is I think Trent Wotherspoon? You live in Rosemont?

>No matter how far right regina is, and it is, we have some token lefties

Regina's the furthest left place in the province by far. Only area where the NDP and Sask Party are on roughly equal footing.
>>
>>69281588
We gave up 1 seat in the federal election, to Ralph Goodale. Rosemont is a huge riding, but yah, that;s my riding.

It is not just left or right for us. We are a very right leaning city. There has been major fuck ups southern sask has felt though. Oil jobs are gone. My city just built a new stadium we really didn't need and a near 2 billion dollar bypass that is only going to divert a small percentage of semi traffic around our city.

I drive on ring road every single day. Extending the number 1 around our city was a bad option overall. Adding a northern bypass would have diverted 85% of semi traffic in our city and it would have cost less.

The NDP vote in regina for a lot of people was an anti-corruption vote. NDP will take this election too. Mark my words. To many people who use to work hard are hardly working.

>NDP will take this election too. Mark my words.

There isn't the slightest possibility of that happening. If you want to get excited about a possible NDP win, ignore Saskatchewan and look at Manitoba. The PCs there always manage to fuck up easy elections, I wouldn't be surprised if the Dippers keep the reigns in Winnipeg.

Sask, though? Not a chance. There are too many ridings where they aren't even competitive. Even if they took all of the twenty or so ridings where they have a realistic shot, the rest stay green.

>>
>>69285052
Yeah I know. Somehow he's been able to convince everybody that his Crown destroying fudge it budget hasn't as much debt as the 1.5 or more billion he's tacked on. I will look to polls like Sanders in Michigan and remember Nate Bronze's buttblast
>>
>>69284447

People in BC have long memories when it comes to how bad the NDP fucked us the last time around.

People in AB have already realized the mistake they made by voting those socialist leeches in. They'll be voted out in the next election, assuming they aren't lynched first.
>>
>>69284232
Sounds like the same party bantz i heard leading up to our Federal election last year. To many people lost their jobs to buy into the "creating jobs" meme Brad Wall is pedalling. People who were making $100k a year setting up rigs are now competing for jobs making $40k a year shutting down infrastructure.
>>
>>69285249
There will always be a place for the number one budget balancing party when people look at 40-70-150 years of one party rule. Crispy Crunch is a goof

>Crown destroying fudge

Name a Crown corporation he's destroyed. I pay a bill to SaskPower and SaskTel every month, so I'm pretty sure they still exist.

>debt

Saskatchewan's provincial debt is smaller today than it was in 2007, and the economy is almost twice the size.
>>
>>69285326
The election is happening literally right now. People are voting as we speak, both of us already have, and every poll that there is projects a Sask Party landslide. At this point in the Alberta election, the NDP win was predicted by everyone too. If you think Cam Broten is going to be our new Premier, you're delusional.
>>
>>69285734
>SaskPower and SaskTel
Tell these niggers what you pay for your unlimited cell phone plan. ~$60 depending on contract. Unlimited calling, text and data.

>but the ndp is bad and crown corps are horrible
I have worked all across canada. I know what unlimited plans cost. A telecommunications owned by the people is not a bad thing. We have fios internet in Regina. We pay less and receive better.
>>
>>69285734
You were left with a billion or so surplus. Ya blew it. Show me a site not a chart that says your debt isn't 1.5 billion. Not ONE balanced budget. What he did was he decoupled the funding. Like how fibcons federally go dipping in our EI. Budget officer said this too but nobody cared. Land deals. Lost potash jobs. Just like AB you squandered everything during the good times. Hundreds of millions or billions-worth. Pay for CT scans? I love how the Canada Health Act and EI laws are the only ones that can be broken without consequence. Along with those that dictate Senatorial expenses. The right wing hasn't a clue when it comes to fiscal management. Being best friends with Zios is a very expensive habit
>>
>>69285928
Nobody called AB for what it resulted in. Take polls. Ignore them. Take media. All they both do is shit in NDP's mouth when they're better or similar to Trudeau and Trudeau is a mini shitty Harper. Because NDP likes indigent whities and saving their money in various ways. Helping them be more productive. Can't have that
>>
>>69285928
>every poll that there is projects a Sask Party landslide.
polls said Harper was going to win. I know my experience was local and therefore bias, but i felt an NDP win today. I have been feeling it all week. Everyone is bitching about this wasted money on a bypass and stadium. It's a huge fucking deal.
>>
>>69286440
Good for you. I feel it too. I also feel Sanders but to be honest I think Sellinger in MB is a little bit quakey. Unfortunately. But we'll see. Because Pallister is a weirdo
>>
>>69286526
But they've been ruling since 1999! So it's a big deal
>>
>>69286440
The NDP was elected in Alberta, polls don't mean anything anymore.
>>
>>69286730
Therefore they mean nothing now. Polls are ALWAYS completely useless. Always. Just like AB and many others
>>
>>69286352
>>69286440
>polls said Notley was going to win
>polls said Harper was going to lose

No, they didn't, not towards the end of the elections. The question in both cases was whether there would be majorities or minorities. Look at the opinion polls yourself.

>>69286171
>You were left with a billion or so surplus. Ya blew it.

Ya, we 'blew it' on doubling spending on infrastructure, doubling spending on education, and doubling the size of the provincial economy.

Our debt is smaller today than it was in 2007.
>>
>>69286901
No it isn't and I don't care. We balanced 17 in a row. You balance your testicles

Polls in the 2015 Alberta election correctly predicted the winner. In fact, at the same stage in their election that we're in now, they OVERESTIMATED the NDP's support. Polls in the 2015 federal election correctly predicted the winner, too, at the same stage we're in.
>>
>>69286901

>>
It's gonna be a Sask party landslide, apparently Broten is at risk of even losing his riding. Brad Wall can't lose

When was this that the NDP balanced seventeen budgets in a row? As far as I'm aware the NDP has never had power in Saskatchewan for seventeen years in a row.

>>69287153
>>69287236
Wow, all of the stages of grief in just two posts.

The NDP is going to win more seats and get more votes than they did in 2011, but they're not going to even approach winning.

>>69287506
Jesus Christ you don't even know your own province's history and I'm an Ontario. CCF started in Calgary. Good to see they are back home. That was the CCF, not the NDP. They didn't start calling themselves the NDP until Tommy went into federal politics (and proceeded to never win a single seat in Saskatchewan).

>>
>>69289786
>And NDP never won a seat there after?

No, Tommy Douglas never won a seat here after. In 1962, 1963, and 1965, the NDP under Tommy Douglas did not win a single seat in Saskatchewan. It took them until Tommy Douglas' last election, in '68, for them to win any.

I should also bring up Douglas' support when he was Premier. At its highest, he had 54% of voters casting their ballots for the CCF. In 2011, Brad Wall won 64%.

Brad Wall, today, as we speak, is more popular than Tommy Douglas ever was.
