Bernie only needs to win California by at most 10 points over Hillary.

He can tie literally every other state and still come out on top whereas Hillary has to win them.

Shillary is fucked.

Right, and he only has to overcome her by 10% in Cali to overcome her in delegates, even if he ties here in every other state.

Other than Cali, a Tie or a Win is good for Bernie, whereas Hillary's only option is to win all these states that she's not expected to win.

She bounced in her southern safetey net and now she's free-falling. Unless something crazy happens, she has nowhere to go but down.

She has to win California by a large margin. Bernie only has to not tie.

They're not delegates. They're superdelegates, which mean nothing.

All they do is back the person winning in regular delegates, meaning they might as well not even exist.

Hillary is polling at 70%-75% in New York right now. New Yorkers are the people that Bernie is targeting the most with his tax plans. He spends all his time shiting on Wall Street.
>>
>>69270096

This, Hillary had all the superdelegates last time she ran, against an inexperienced and incompetent nigger who failed at every single thing he ever tried to accomplish. She still lost, and we got President Nigger instead.

Superdelegates will switch if Bernie is popular enough. Hope it happens, Trump v Bernie would be hilarious.

Super delegates are designed to give the part more control over who they nominate. You're telling me in every election every super delegate goes with whoever won the popular vote? I find that highly suspect.
>>
>>69266261

It only takes Hillary winning by a superdelegate margin to do the damage to the Democrats.

At that point, they have to admit that the voters mean nothing, because they no longer do.
>>
Are you retards forgetting about super delegates? There's absolutely no chance that Bernie will get the nomination.

And if Bernie overtakes her in real delegates, they'll switch to him, and then he'll be 800 delegates ahead.
>>
>>69271315

He doesn't have to. Just has to get enough delegates to keep Hillary under the margin without superdelegates, and at that point, even a "brokered" convention swings Hillary with the usual party leadership blessing shitting all over actual delegate-wrangling.

This will result in huge chunks of the Democrats pitching a hissy fit and staying home- which is a GOP win if they manage to avoid the same fate with Trump (good fucking luck) but more likely is going to be another small-turnout Presidental election.

There are 2049 delegates still available to win. There are 2383 needed to win. Sanders has 975. Clinton has 1243. 2383-975 = 1408. Sanders need 1408 to win. 1408/2049=.68 or 68% percent.

If this was true why does Sanders have superdelegates pledged to him right now?

The superdelegates exist specifically to keep people like Sanders from becoming president. It worked out for Obama because they were both establishment candidates. They'll never let a socialist communist became president so he can fuck up the system. They ARE the system.

The best possible scenario is for Bernie to overtake Hillary in pledged delegates and then for the superdelegates to cuck him out of the nomination. The Democrat base will be so disaffected and pave the way for a Trump landslide. It's probably impossible but it would be a dream come true.

As long as the margins are close enough, the superdelegates will argue that Hillary is "more electable" and that'll be the end of it in the eyes of most people. The more hardline Sanders supporters could in turn spite her at the general election, though if they would be willing to do so remains to be seen.
>>
>>69269302
Nigger what. Sanders campaign is funded by small donations, shillary is the one bankrolled by soros and his ilk
>>
>>69273686
I don't see the final real delegate count being that close, though.

If Bernie overtakes Hillary, it'll be in the hundreds, 200 at the least.

That's a decent enough gap that would spark massive outrage, I think.
>>
>>69273118
Is that why he got the fuck out as soon as he could and never returned?
>>
>>69273231
No one like Sanders has ever made it this close to the nomination before. You think the establishment is just going to let a socialist take over and tear down their system and tax them out the ass? They'll back Clinton.
>>
>>69269855
Bernie has already stated he would look elsewhere for any positions, mentioned Warren with a grin
>>
>>69273879
I think that if what's happening to Trump proves anything, it's that the establishment is more afraid of "losing control" than it is of looking "undemocratic."

If you want to believe that the Dems are any different, the more power to you, but I'm cynical.
>>
>>69270030

>>69274473

But they've yet to be used for that purpose.

And it's very unlikely that they ever will be.
>>
>>69273231

>>
>>69272071

The superdelegates exist specifically to prevent someone like Bernie from getting the nomination. They're not going to flip to him no matter how much you retards believe they will. Only way they flip is if he wins by enough to make the superdelegates irrelevant, then they'll flip to save face. If it's within the margin for the superdelegates to decide it then they'll go Hillary.

That's the whole point of their existence
>>
You guys don't get it? Are you fucking retarded or something? Why do bern victims keep repeating this? Clinton dominates upcoming primaries just like she dominated previous ones. Fivethirtyeight averages their results in dozens of national polls. [You can go through and look](http://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/election-2016/primary-forecast/wisconsin-democratic/#polls-only) (scroll down to polling average not projected)

Wisconsin: all polls combined Clinton leads 49.2% to 43.2% 80% chance of a Clinton win

New York: Clinton leads 69.4% to 24.3%

Maryland 58.7 to 25.4 Clinton 93% chance to win

Pennsylvania 53.1 to 27.8 Clinton 90% chance to win

California 47.2 to 37.3 Clinton 70% chance

New Jersey 55.5 to 30.3 Clinton

Bernie doesn't need to just win the upcoming primaries he needs to win them by a lot in order to make up the difference.
