The "I told you so" aside, this is brutal. Trump can no longer do his little act of denying things he literally is watching play out on video in front of him. He will finally have to either acknowledge that his campaign manager is a thug, or say that the police are lying.
If he chooses the former, then all of Trump's credibility with undecideds vaporizes as he flounders to find a replacement and revoke his praises of the man. If he chooses the latter, then he will be on the same side as Black Lives Matter, a group he and his supporters have been at odds with. This is a political checkmate. Trump's campaign is in serious trouble now. He lost his campaign manager in a very embarrassing way right when he needed to get one last surge. No matter what he does, he will alienate enough supporters to make the long-rumored ceiling finally materialize.
