Last I checked, we aren't blowing ourselves up, or financially enabling others to blow themselves up.
We are simply asking to be allowed to protect ourselves, since the Supreme Court has ruled TWICE that the Police are under no obligation to protect you (which makes you wonder why they exist in the first place).
also, you know what, if you dont like it so much, why dont you fucks push for a constitutional convention so we can get it over with and split this country in two already. You know america as a whole wouldnt survive the convention so you are trying to avoid calling one but you know its the only way in hell you are getting the guns.

Like, right now, we can't take people's rights away UNTIL they commit a crime. Even then you can only take SOME rights away as prescribed by law, and they have to have due process.
But You want to take gun rights away from people and punish them BEFORE they would commit crimes?

Police do protect, but they are under no OBLIGATION to. Just like doctors treat people but they are UNDER NO OBLIGATION TO do so.
any doctor can turn down any patient (except emergencies yadda yadda) because the Supreme Court has ruled you can not enslave a doctor (make them treat you against their will.)
Cops do protect you as part of their job...they can be fired if they don't protect you...a PERSONNEL ACTION, but they don't have a ---legal-- obligation to do so
Like...you have a job, right? Say you don't want to fry the french fries that day. So you get fired. But the person at the counter wants to have you arrested for not making her her damn french fries. You have a job to make fries...but NO LEGAL OBLIGATION.
Cops are employees, just like you. They are hired to protect, and they can be fired if they don't do their job...but they can't be sent to jail if they don't.
