They have an identifying dresscode which gives a martial appearance, and pictures of Sikhs are usually of buff well groomed men.
They don't appear as executors in ISIS videos. And their religion is low key without expansive undertones, who the fuck knows what they really stand for, have some gurus and follows their teachings and that's as far I bothered to read about it.
The turban-wielders are more religiously advanced sikhs, as such as they are more inclined to be disciplined.
Uh... there's nothing to make them more liked based on that though unless you're gay, so my personal guess is that the turban identifier makes you feel relieved because you can tell them apart from potentially suicidal muslims. So it's like seeing the right pattern on a snake and feeling relieved it's not mortally poisonous even if it could still bite you.
