I drive up into the woods and go shooting a couple times a month. That's pretty normal.
It's also pretty normal to go camping with guns. In fact, I never camp unarmed.
The only really weird part is the alleged snackbarring and shooting at another group.
I could care less about snackbarring, freedom of religion. I get drunk and yell about SLAYER sometimes or sing some Iron Maiden and it doesn't make me a terrorist.
Shooting at other people is another issue entirely, but if they're dumb they probably weren't shooting at a good backstop. Its possible these people heard the gunshots from a distance and just assumed that they were being shot at with no clear evidence like bullets impacting near them being presented.
