Why can't we have libertarianism, but with roads, schools (reading, writing, arithmetic) and firefighters / police (that don't go looking for revenue to collect) I'd be ok with that, at least for America. Socialism is the best system but only the Germanic and Nordic countries can handle it, not even Anglos can do it effectively without turning it into a gigantic, inefficient money-sink.
