Why does immigration work for the USA but not for Europe? Why do immigrates coming to America usually become "Americanized" and feel as if they truly are as american as the founding fathers? I feel as if it can never work for europeon countries becuase, unlike America, its not a land of immigrants, its land is of its people, spanning thousands of years. Even if a paka feels unwavering patriotism for the UK, its odd to call a paki, a british citizen. But its the opposite in the states, where, for example, hispanics, call themselves americans, speak the language and adopt the culture and the mindset. Being american is a state of mind, this is why I think Europe should be alot more like japan when it comes to immigration, it simply can not work for you guys.
