Fevers are necessary for a child's development as they activate the immune system. At a normal range (104°F) there's no way they can cause brain damage.
Extreme temperature however does damage the brain, but you'd need a 108°F fever for this, and no vaccine or even actual disease can possibly cause this.

(1) A lone study years ago suggested a correlation between vaccines and autism.
