As an A&E doc in an area with a large Muslim community I can tell you this is the case
Every day minors is completely full with people who've brought their entire extended family to A&E because nanny has blisters, the kids have colds, dad needs a sick note for bennies and mum has facticious abdominal pain caused by the anxiety of having to look after 7 or 8 people and being in a country where noone speaks her language and her abusive husband is her only link to the world.

It's impossible to get healthcare. You have to self-medicate. There's an impassable wall of paper work you need to go trough before you can talk to a doctor about anything. It's frustrating.

I'd rather pay for everything directly. Hospitals should be businesses. I have the money so I should get the service. Why do I need to give them 10 different documents, pee in a cup, call in my work for them to confirm I work there etc?
