I realize you are shitposting because that's what you do, but: in a pure democracy, everyone would vote on everything, which simply cannot work in any society of any size.
which is why we are a republic, similar to you. we periodically elect by popular vote (that's the democratic part) representatives who then get to make their own decisions (that's the republic part).
occasionally a state will have a referendum, but I'm not aware of any national referendums. and, the states that have them only do it if the state representatives allow it.
to put it another way, even if 75% of america wanted to re-institute slavery, it would probably never happen.
