They do, you would have to be pretty naive that they don't.
Those kind of activities are pretty prevalent on youtube by downvoting and commenting anything that criticizes Putin.

/pol/ is a lot bigger than most people think. It's mainly comprised of 14-25 year olds and people in those age groups tend to be impressionable. However, as much shit /pol/ gets a lot of the users are fairly intelligent, and they are in search of other opinions than what the mainstream shoves down their throats. The fact alone that they are on here shows the young are being critical and if that's not a sign of intelligence I dunno what is. Plus, this isn't a hivemind like reddit where if your opinion isn't popular it's still be shown, it allows for people to critically think.
Have they tried to infiltrated /pol/? Yeah, but it usually fails miserably.

I doubt many people are getting redpilled on here anymore considering how hopelessly pruned quality discussion is and how saturated the board is with #MAGA lock-step marching bullshit, but its irrefutable that it once happened here all the time, and people were constantly reporting how short-term exposure to /pol/ in the form of indoctrinated shitposting eventually eroded their urge to fun post and resulted in them engaging with a serious interrogation of their cardinal truths.
/pol/ isn't the place to come for mass-redpilling anymore, but clearly its possible to deprogram yourself given the correct environment.
