I need some advice from a few polish people please.
I'm a white American who's paternal grandmother came over directly from Poland. I look very Slavic but do not have a polish last name (have an English one).
I have an urge to return to Poland and assuming I could find work there - what is the general attitude toward foreigners? My grandmother taught me the language but ive fallen severely out of practice with it over the years and would have to relearn it beforehand.
Would I be shunned or welcomed in the motherland?

You should choose a bigger city like Warsaw, Wrocław, Kraków, Gdańsk or Poznań. They are a bit more western-ish so it will be easier for you to adapt.

You can also get school loans from the department if education to study things like med, vet, etc. 4 years of school will get you acclimated and hou will have more opportunity most likely.
