I agree with him. I will never allow my kids to play these hyper-violent video games. It desensitizes kids.
I'll use myself as an example: when I was 10 saw Subzero rip off his opponents head in Mortal Kombat I was horrified. Now it doesn't even make me bat an eye. In fact, I can't remember the last time I was truly bothered by graphic displays of violence. It really worries me how unaffected I've become.
