False. Our gun laws are pretty based when compared to the rest of Europe. CC is legal. Rifles are allowed for sport and hunting.
For CC you need to take a course on firearm safety, local laws etc, and manage to hit a target with some pretty old Makarov. Get a safe, medical record saying you have no history of serious illness relevant for gun ownership and dump it all at your local police station.
