Depends where you go really. Much of Glasgow is very friendly but it's defiantly not the best of Scotland. Honestly the North is the best place in Scotland if you want friendly people and no minorities. Only problem is with the North is, it's very bare and there is little to do unless you really like like mountains and wildlife. Glasgow is much more entertaining for younger people.
