Obviously psychology is not helping you. Read things, do things, acquire skills. When you're doing something that you find questionable, ask yourself, "is this degenerate?" If yes, stop doing it. If no, continue on with your day. I recommend "The Memorable Thoughts of Socrates" by Xenophon. Ethics is also worthwhile.
