I'm a Fleming from the Brussels area (grew up in Brussels, we moved out because of the immigrants).
Brussels is real bad nowadays. More than 50% of newborns are muslim there.
The problem is that there are entire ghettos of muslims that simply hate Belgium and Belgians. They live inside their own little community where they only speak their own language.
They hate us, it's as simple as that.

Yes, all immigrants in Brussels speak only (broken) French and whatever their native language is.
This is not just muslims, but also people from South America and Asia.
It's a strange city. On weekdays, a lot of Flemings commute into Brussels to work there. At these times, you can hear some Dutch (and English) here and there.
After working hours though, or during the weekends, it's mostly French and Arabic plus a whole lot of other languages.
I get the feeling that none of the new arrivals are integrating into our culture at all.
