If you get like 2% African or Asian it should be accurate but if it's only 0.1% it could be noise, and even if not it shouldn't matter. A lot of DNA does pretty much nothing.

Yes. 0.1% of your DNA would be going back roughly 10 generations. Assuming your average generation is 30 years, that should be about ~300 years.
Europeans have been colonising Canada since the mid 1500's, so it's fully possible. Probably just noise though, my Anglo cousin.
