While there is merit to what you're saying to "mr. Corruption" about the nature of power, I would like to point out that he is also right on the principle that power corrupts. There is a misunderstanding between you two which is probably purely conversational. But allow me to explain in a short and concise mannet. You define power as a philosophical entity which may possess variables of different magnitude. (Like a meter of sorts). According to you, power is thus a tool that can be used for both good and bad much like a hammer. The argument of mr. Corruption wasn't on the nature of power but rather on the effects of the use of such a tool. His argument is on the nature of the wielder of power, highlighting the fallible nature of humankind. You two have no philosophical quarrel i believe.
