>Patton wrote into his journal that people believe "the Displaced Person is a human being, which he is not, and this applies particularly to the Jews who are lower than animals. ...
>While Allied leaders expressed mixed feelings on Patton's capabilities, the German High Command was noted to have more respect for him than for any other Allied commander after 1943. Adolf Hitler reportedly called him "that crazy cowboy general."
Why haven't you accepted him as the god of /pol/ yet? He was an expert swordsman too.

>Why haven't you accepted him as the god of /pol/ yet?
But he is. I always see people praising him.
It is quite strange how similar he and Trump look alike
>>68693661
do you have any sources for this?

Patton was an insane narcissist who so happened to be a great tank commander.
He was literally insane.
I wouldnt take anything he said seriously.
The Germans actually never really "respected him" during the war. Alot of generals said things about him long after WW2, id imagine to piss off Monty.
Patton didnt do anything of note, other than be the one to get the job of breaking out of Normandy.
Any general would have pulled it off.

Patton believed in past lives, and I think he believed to have once been in Napoleon's army. He also thought cowards should be shot on sight. He was a huge personality capable of commanding men, and insane

Id add to that:
>personality cult to get the best out of his 3rd Army
>tough guy act to motivate troops
>mobile warfare expert required total loyalty from troops
.
.
.
He knew how to command and did so expertly.
That being said, if he had been fighting pre Barbarossa German troops on the main front, he would never have performed as well.
At the end of the day, even Montgomery was shit who literally only won El Alamein 2, because Ultra had decoded every single movement/troop status etc from Rommel.
To this day Rommel, Zhukov and Yamamoto are the greatest commanders in WW2, in my personal opinion.
>>68693661
patton was also a historian
>>68694945
i thought it was a photoshop
Because /pol/ worships this fucking jew lover as the god of /pol/
>>68698779
I completely agree
Rommel is my personal favorite, and not for natsoc, just opinion. Don't know enough about about Yamamoto.
>>68693661
Why does trump look like him so much?
>>68698838
>>68698779
Rommel got outflanked in north africa didnt he?
he did well to begin but was eventually over run no?

Patton believed in reincarnation.
Trump was born a year after Patton died.
Do the math.

He was a godly commander, but a man of a different era for sure. He had no restraint and thus no place in the U.S. military after total war had finished. He was right about a lot of things, but he was a fucking loose cannon like LeMay and MacArthur. He was bad for realpolitik in any capacity.
