from a naive point of view I can see the general historical trend to paint him as a great statesman but- how great can he be if he worked against the interests of europe and screwed over his own people in the process?
Mind you I do not blame him for opposing the nazis but he either worked with the americans to take over europe, or didnt understand the situation well enough to prevent it, or didnt care.
So he was a traitor in the end, and the continent must have known or smelled that the brits were a thorn in their side, surely the nazis did. Shall never again make the mistake if we even have a chance to come back from this current situation.
He ruined Britain and Europe as a whole. I'm sure the Jews would have found someone else if Churchill didn't feel like it.

He hated every race, including the English. He set up groups to attack Irish men in Britain and Northern Ireland who would just attack regular Irish bros. He said numerous times he hated anyone from above the humber who are northern scum. He just hated everything the fat sack of shit. His hatred got him his seat as his hatred for Germans was clear and obviously a year into the war the regular joe hated the Germans since they had lost many British lives already and Germany showed no sign of slowing down.
Economically he was shit - but this is overlooked due to us being in a war. Socially he created bigger class divides, he created the under-class we still have today that have evolved into the no-teeth, inbreed chavs we see as a staple of the English today. He spat on Scotland and took a lot of their money but only invested it into English infrastructure which began the new rise of Scottish hatred for being British which still hasnt fully subsided.
He was one of our worst but only overlooked because he was lucky enough to be in power when the war ended.

The current Queen never cared about politics. She could have a lot more power than just sitting there if she wanted but she chose not to. Charles says he will be more public but he seems a bit of a hit and miss. Sometimes he critiques Islam or says something /pol/ would approve of then in the next breath he's saying he wants the Quran read at his coronation. Will (the one who will be king after Charles) is a little more anti-Islam but he's not very public right now beside his marriage and the royal baby he avoids lime light. His brother Harry is much better and would make a fine king. He hates Islam, voted for UKIP, served and still serves in the military. But hes not 5th in line for the throne so we have no chance with him which is a shame.
I'd love an absolute monarchy that is in service to the people but our current candidates are pretty shit.
