Kasner is the Germanized version of Kazimierzak
Kazimierzak was a surname given to Jews from the Polish ghetto of Kazimierz near Krakow.

Let's go a bit more into this.
Merkel's father was Ludwig Kasner. This is not his real name, though. His real name is Ludwig Kazmierczak, which as Australia already told you, is a Jewish name (see >>68627278 ). It doesn't stop here, though. Additionally, Ludwig's father and mother were members of the "Blue Army" (Błękitna Armia), a Polish anti-German fighting troop.
The real deal, however, is Merkel's mother. Because, as we all know, having a Jewish mother means you're a Jew. This is not even a secret, though: Her mother is named Herlind Kasner, but her maiden namen was Herlin Jenztsch, which is also a Polish-Jewish surname (and means "favored by Jehova with a son"). The rest is a little bit mysterious and irrelevant for this subject: Angela's real name is Victoria and she's an US-Citizen by birth (both parents were and she was born in the US). Source for this is some Polish documentary from mainstream TV.
