Ok, let's pretend we're not on /pol/ for just a second. What is a reasonable plan for the ISIS immigration problem in US/Europe? I understand the "close the borders/make Muslims identify themselves" plan, but that isn't practical in the real world. What do you guys think could actually work?
Don't allow immigration from muslim-majority countries.
It would work and is the best option. The fact that stupid people refuse to implement it doesn't mean that it's not possible or effective.

Yes, it is. If Euro nations are stupid enough to throw away their sovereignty and borders and open the floodgates to cold blooded killers then they'll pay the price for it. Why would someone take their word for it? The baseline that any country starts at is zero people coming in. Adding anyone takes effort. If you want stop muslims from immigrating, you can start by not allowing anyone from the muslim world (no arabs, persians, etc). But you don't even have to go that far; if they can't document someone's identity to the point of being able to make a reasonable guess at their religion they shouldn't be allowed to enter the country anyway.

I dunno how they do it in Europe, but in the US immigration, especially for refugees is a very long and time consuming process. There's people who wait for up to a decade just to come to the US as a refugee. They have to look at each person and decide if they should be let in. That's not the way terrorists are going to come in. There's better and more reliable illegal ways to get into the US than go through a lengthy process where you could be found out at any moment. That's why Trump's plan of banning Muslim travel to the US is stupid.
