Mormons have pull in the program because most churches either require boys to join the program, or a similar program at a certain age. Outside of the super mormon areas, you may have 1 or 2 (large) mormon troops in the council. Most summer camps have a specific week out of their schedule just for mormon troops, so you almost never see mormons aside from big events. They are quite annoying nu-male fucks though, all around.

Built a 24ft bridge for a local park. Plans were to anchor it into the ground with cement. The park told me to just have it rest on buried cement blocks incase they needed to get heavy machinery through the area and had to move the bridge. Eagle Scout is like the tutorial level in the scouting program. There is so much you miss out on if you quit there. I'm pretty disappointed in a lot of you for not doing more in the program. In OA and Venture you don't age out until 21, and after that, getting involved in the program as an adult and passing on your knowledge is one of the most fulfilling things you can do.

/pol/ I was the SPL when it happened. The first (and last) black kid joined our troop. It fucking ruined the week at summer camp because all of the best jokes were purposefully not said at the campfire (the little nig's dad was there, too!). He also started a shitfest with this slightly racist kid (nog was ~14, kid was ~12) which ended with the (again, slightly) racist kid being kicked in the nuts, him crying for like 30 minutes and not talking to anyone for the rest of the week and then never showing up again.
The nig quit a year and a half later because his parents were divorced, he (and his mom) moved away and his dad didn't want to have to keep driving him 45 minutes to the meetings.

I bought the wrist strap at Walmart. It took me a few weeks of searching for a nice one. This one is synthetic in the center but has a layer of leather on the outside and inside. Just search several walmarts around where you live. You can find a nice one eventually.
