Occassionally we'd help Marines take doors and do sweeps, did a couple of raids, etc... every like 2 months we'd get "kill" mission that'd we'd do with the Marine MEU that was stationed nearby.
we'd do cleanup after airstrikes, suicide bombings, etc... where there were dead iraqis for us to clean, we were there.
Mostly patrols though, and firefights/IED's were a daily occurrence. Offensive operations we'd be in a supporting role to the MEU's posted nearby
