Are Filipinos Asians? I overheard a Korean guy today saying Filipinos don't really count as Asians. They are different people.

Flips are considered Spanish-mongrelized tribal islanders. Their country isn't known for anything other than an export of laborers for service and construction industries. Basically a cheap disposable workforce for blue collar industries with no expectations for anything more.
The funny thing is, Arabs and chinks love enslaving them, importing them on a promise of a good job offer, confiscating their passport, and working them 10-12hrs a day cleaning houses or doing dangerous construction work for pennies.
We aren't allowed to register as Pacific Islanders. As far as government is concerned, we're Asian.
