Currently in Helsinki. So far its worth it. There are some nogs around but not too much. Architecturally speaking there are some interesting buildings here but a downside is that the city is quite small. You can do most of the stuff in a weekend/week.

The problem with this logic is that most homicides are carried out by people familiar to the victim. Most of the violence in the US is concentrated to black on black gang violence, drug trafficking, and domestic violence.
I personally don't have those type of people in my life that want to kill me. They also wouldn't follow me to Europe in order to kill me if they did exist.
