Europe is the exact opposite. You've got sub 90 IQ spics, Greeks, mudslimes/French and eastern Europeans. 100-110 IQ Brits, Germans, and Scandinavians. There's something like 50 languages. The south's economy is literally 95% tourism. The plurality of them are socialists and/or communists who want a massive centralized state.

This. The common language alone is an issue. America has had English since it's founding. There were native languages, but we all know how that turned out. Plus there would be no way to make all of Europe communicate under a single currency, a single language, a single etc.

The reason I and many others say this is because we can tell from past and current negotiations what the bureaucrats in Brussels think of the wishes of individual member states: they don't give a fuck.
David Cameron went to the EU essentially saying "look, this really isn't working for us. we need a big change or we are going to leave"
Their response was basically a big fuck you. The reforms Cameron got are a joke, especially compared to what he initially set out to get. Most importantly the 'In' campaign is basing a huge part of their campaign on the fact Cameron's reforms include an opt out from bills we really don't like.
In reality, its a non legally binding promise to 'reconsider' any bills hat 55% of members want revised. All they have to do is 'think about it', not make significant changes. They could make one tiny change that benefits one specific member state, gain their vote, and boom they have >50% in favour and pass the bill as planned.
The EU has never, and will never, care about what Britain wants and needs.

Lot's of people are counting on the idea of a 'reformed' EU. Even the remain campaign knows there are serious problems with our membership.
I for one am very skeptical of their promises, we've had 40 years to sort out the internal structure of the EU and nothing has been done, it's still undemocratic, it's still disconnected from the nation states it represents.
If you want any proof of the lack of change in the EU, look at Cameron's renegotiation, which could note provoke even ONE treaty change. All of the concessions were temporary and insignificant at that. If there was any point in British history at which we could have influenced the EU, it was then. And yet nothing was accomplished. Even the threat of a Brexit is not enough to influence any real change in the EU.
Frankly, the Remain Campaign and the Greens are little more than deluded fools that believe in the ceding of national power, at any cost, spurred on by limitless EU resources.
This is why the remain campaign sounds so fucking tired. It's because these fanatics have no arguments that can sway the average person, very few people believe in the EU dream anymore.
Britain does not need the EU dragging us down anymore, nor does any European country.

Hey guys, I’m the person who originally recorded the video of “Carl”. I have to say, I didn’t expect it to blow up like this. And now that it did, I feel a bit bad about it. let me explain...
Firstly, let me start by saying that when I uploaded the video, I knew it would piss you guys off because it portrayed “Carl” as exactly what so many of you hate: An arrogant, stuck up liberal who thinks his opinion is superior to yours even though he can’t even defend it. A “SJW” who depends on feels and not facts, and will yell whenever his opinion is challenged.
Well, it seems that’s exactly how so many people on 4chan took it. And the meme blew up. But i feel a little bit deceiving for it. The truth is, it wasn’t such a simple interaction. After Carl went “ARE YOU SERIOUS?” He started talking about how Hitler’s rise to power depended on blaming a specific group of people and promising to eliminate them from our society. He talked about the rise of fascism when the establishment fell apart, hitler manipulating, blah blah blah. He even said some stuff about the language they use. It seems like he really did his research honestly.
So, there you have it. I don’t agree with Carl. But he DID explain his reasoning. I figured people would realize this considering the video is only 4 seconds long (not nearly enough time to explain his reasoning). So yeah. Can you please stop bullying this kid? He may not support the same candidate as you do but to harass this kid for being an arrogant liberal is just dishonest. Instead of attacking him with ad hominem, we should actually focus on addressing his arguments. Otherwise we look like a bunch of insecure rednecks who will focus on attacking a person rather than their reasoning (ironically, everything we supposedly stand against)

Mostly because the states have been living in the culture of being a single country since very early on. People think of someone from a different state just like Someone from London would think of someone from Brighton.
Whereas in Europe all the countries have been living as such for thousands of years and have vastly different cultures and beliefs. It's hard to get a system like that to work with such little homogeneity

Because people dont identify as European, they identify by their nation, and this is very important.
If for example, the economy in Kent crashes and suddenly the counsels in Kent cant afford to run the social services like hospitals and schools, then the government can take money from the prospering provinces (for the sake of argument I will say London and Dorset) and then divert the surplus to Kent to make up for it.
Everyong in the UK would be okay with this because we identify as British, and care about keeping our county afloat.
A United States of Europe would not work, because when the Greek or Portugese economy crashes, people in the UK and Germany do not want to see their hard earned taxes going to Greece of Portugal, because we dont identify as European.
The United States of America works because when the economy in one state crashes, the other states are on the whole, happy to help, because they care about the US as a whole, because they identify primarily as American.
Europeans do not identify as European, we dont care about each other enough to be unified to that degree.
I dont want to see my taxes going to Greece or any other foreign country for that matter, I want to see my taxes making our country better and our country alone.
