An interesting fact is that they added those top 3 floors to the building years following the original construction of the Bon marche (original name). And when you see the inside office areas you really see the differences in construction.
There's also a cop sub station on the ground level so the cops would be there any way. That's also the location for one of the main entrances to the Seattle bus tunnel.
People also don't know that there's actually a huge underground tunnel network under the city thats accessible in the lower basements of these older buildings.
Seattle is a really neat town and I've always loved this place for the 20 some years I've been here.
