In Asia, racism is out in the open and not seen as offensive. They just take it for granted that everyone is racist because, frankly, all the races are very different from each other. If you counter this worldview by saying "All races are equal in worth and dignity!", they'll look at you as if you've just gone crazy. Some races are ugly. Some are smart. Some physically more developed. They don't understand why making observations about the natural world should be considered offensive. It's refreshing in it's honesty.

I've worked in Africa for three years, trust me, this Chinese guy is showing civility. Nothing works over there and everything is left to decay. None of them are interested in development, just in living for the day. It's impossible to get them to do work. You end up having to do everything yourself. They're only effort is in thinking of creative new ways in which to rip off the company. I'm glad I left.
