I wasted way to much time on games. The worst ones are the 1000+ hours in some online shooters. With good single player games or mmorpg i might have some nice memories the same way you have from a good movie (half life) or even a night drinking with some friends (raiding in WoW or something similar) but with shooters its just hours and hours of owning noobs and instant gratification that feels good at the moment you do it but give you nothing in the long run, not even a good story to remember.

The kill animations are great, and you only can't use power fists with PA because the PA hands themselves are power fists.

In BaS2 you play as Liz and have to go back to Columbia to find something during the Vox uprising. While you're there you see a meeting between the Luteces and Fitzroy were they tell her that she must force Liz to kill her so she will mature and gain the strength she needs to kill Comstock at the end of Bioshock Infinite.

Also NV's biggest fault barring that it was empty as fuck in all the wrong ways is it's lack of any laid back context. You could be a hero or a psychopath yes, but just like when they made KOTOR II all of your options were extremes of logics and there was never a nah I'm good or a smartass path other than a few quips here and there.
I still think FO4's main problem is that it isn't packed closely, FO3 felt cozy as shit specifically because everything was pretty packed together for the most part. NV had that problem because it was in a desert and that was kinda unavoidable. Bethesda wanted to show off different landscapes instead of just downtown which I get but they didn't pack boston properly.
Still love the game, but I'm not purchasing it myself(only play it on my rommates rig) until the GECK comes out and we get some more specific and extensive mod options

Honestly, the NV thing is pretty much true. The reason people hated 3 was just a bunch of petty inside biases about "casual gamers" and the fact that Bethesda had just bought the rights to the franchise. NV did have better player choice and agency but honestly not by such a massive margin. It did have a better written story by a mile.
Fallout 4 falls behind NV in that aspect but it's overall a good game, people who tell you otherwise have very high standards for certain criteria, are very nitpicky, or just hate Bethesda. (Keyboard warriors from RPG Codex and such)

This argument doesn't even make sense since games were extremely fast before the casualization ~1999-2002 and cinematic shit. This is the whole point. It is too realistic, it's unneccessary. If anything cinematic, awful shit games made you resistant to awful, slow game design.
Defending the default animation also just makes you look like a fanboy since there actually is a faster animation (in-combat). It's just utter, wannabe-cinematic shit game design for casuals. They probably also were very proud of the only animation of a human in the game that doesn't look like shit.

There are like two minutes loading times. I literally had to buy an SSD for this game which was absolutely not needed for Witcher 3, for example. Loading times are still awful, though.
