He is exactly the type of danger Ataturk warned us against.
I can only hope that his Islamist regime will not last much longer. Either way, the Turkish people really need to reevaluate their values and concerns as a people. In the end it is up to them whether they want to embrace the superstitious nonsense and barbarism of Islam or put an attempt at Westernization like Ataturk.
Time will tell. Though, I don't have much optimism for the people or the nation.
