That's right, you shouldn't. Religion is the obvious first problem. Once you've convinced people that someone that nobody has ever seen and there's no verifiable evidence that exists or has ever existed and has complete control over everything, it's pretty easy to get them to kill or die. Islam is special too, because it teaches that not only killing for God is good, but dying for God has its own rewards.
Second, you've got a billion desperate people who are being robbed by oil sheiks. In Alaska, people get tax dividends based on the oil they sell. In Saudi Arabia, the prince buys another Lambo. The people who would own these resources under western common law give it up freely to kings ordained by Mohammed and live in extreme poverty.
So really the problem isn't Muslims specifically, it's Islam, poverty, and corruption.
