All my religious friends are Trumper's, I'm not personally but I still support him as my general candidate. He's doing incredibly well as a whole with the religious community since they've been hostile to washington for passing laws of decree to the practices of churches in accepting and being forced to follow things against their beliefs such as not having a choice to host gay weddings or businesses being forced to provide birth control when they oppose. Ted Cruz is basically like Rick Santorum, some ultra-conservative who only really appeals to evangelical voters, but because of how fucked up this election cycle and how people are fed up with the Republican establishment, he somehow managed to get this far. He had even less of a chance than any of the other candidates because has no appeal among moderates and independents. Neither do Rubio and Bush (look at how they got decimated), they would've just followed the trend of McCain and Romney and lost by an even wider margin.
