Most women tend to get the more expensive and dumbed-down iPhone (with expensive data plans), while some men tend to get the cheaper and more complex smartphones, if men ever get one. Some men still use burner phones that doesn't require any monthly, although there is a rise in men that gets spendy like women when it comes to smartphones (nu-males).
The point is, men often work really hard for their money and are generally more thrifty with it. Women, on the other hand, don't work as hard and are wasteful, especially if they're spending money that they haven't earned with actual hard work.
It is possible to train them to be fiscally disciplined, but it's getting harder and harder with media and feminism and all.
