I visited China a few years back, and was surprised to see teenage girls hold hands. I was thinking that had it occurred in Canada, these two girls would have been starred at and attacked.
I think in Canada and America people are too distant, and too afraid of homosexuality so much so that this fear permeates through social interactions and detrimentally impacts people's mental health.
I think it should be made socially acceptable to touch one another without being tagged as a homo. And that elected politicians should do something about this.
