It's a poison, everyone knows it is, but it's a painkilling poison that has the least side effects of any painkiller out there, and that actually has proven medical usage for treating a variety of diseases beyond pain management/appetite when properly treated/distilled/whatever.
Anyone who is against the proliferation of weed is pretty much someone who wants painkillers and cancer to torture/opiate and biologically toxify the masses instead.
