British soldiers have taken to social media to share shocking photos of meals allegedly prepared for them by Ministry of Defence (MoD) contractor Sodexo as they petition the government for better quality food.

>this food is 10/10 in britbongistan
The chicken is a little rare, which is bad. But can't they just cook it a little more? It isnt that hard.
Besides, I need to see the rest of the meal. Just because one element is shit doesnt mean it is all ruined. It's a army meal, not a 5 star Haute Cuisine.

England was never known for taking particularly good care of its troops.

The army is like the children of a nation, take care of them and they'll take care of you.
>>68244420
That looks like it was already partially eaten. And if it weren't/didn't, it wouldn't look too bad. I mean, for an MRE type thing.

US military eats chocolate bars infused with beef.
>>68245753
thats chiken? thought it was squid
This is why back in my army days we avoided this at all costs. Even when we were in the field for a few weeks we'd ask for family to send us food at regular times.
As a Royal Navy sailor our food isn't too bad. The skipper would flip his lid if the chefs poisoned the crew.
>>68246311
I wouldn't call it beef. Or chocolate. Oddly though, I think the freeze dried milkshakes are delicious
Real talk -- My old university contracted Sodexo for their food, and it was awful. People got sick all the time. The only reason this company still exists is because they have political connections. Fuck them.

How's your back?
I have been on a warship in the past where half the crew came down with the violent shits. Its not fun when theres only about 6 working toilets and 150 lads trying to go for a greasy liquid dump at the same time.
I ate food kinda like that while I was in the Navy; but mainly it was just bad/undercooked because the niggers warming it up are lazy as shit. Cooks in the Navy don't actually cook anything--they just reheat shit, and half the time they're some of the dumbest sonsofbitches alive so it comes out looking like shit.
The big exception though was the Philippino mafia; there's a lot of them in Navy supply (which "cook" is technically part of). They made some pretty decent shit.

>free
We paid 7 euro for that shit when we ate on base and the army payed 10 euro for it when we got it out in the field.
I guess you think that free healthcare is also free.

My back? Just fine. My mind however is a far more complex question. I don't believe I am entirely sane anymore. Scary shit as I'm responsible for peoples lives quite often.
Forward this stuff to Nigel Farage, holy shit this is some ammo for him.

That cake is fucking nice, especially if you spread some nutella or peanut butter on it.
Made a bro a birthday cake out in the woods with the vanilla cake, nutella, chocolate cake and peanut butter. Fucking nice.

Is this the same food service company that has contracts with universities? I think they lost their contract with mine a few years back.
>>68244420
The US Army food is pretty decent depending on the base. Thats one thing the Army fucks us daily but the MRE's and food aint too bad.

When I was in the RAF, the food was really nice. The airmens' mess served up really good food.
My favourite was breakfast. Cereal, porridge, full cooked breakfast. (bacon, eggs, sausages, fried bread, mushrooms, tomatoes, beans).
As much toast as you can eat, fresh orange juice, milk and as much tea as you can drink.
Sunday lunch was also tasty; a proper roast with loads of vegetables.
Even the ration packs were good, but basic. If flying or on active duty, we got a box with a sandwich, a piece of fruit, a small packet of biscuits, a bag of crisps and a a carton of juice.
I loved what we called an 'egg banjo'; three slices of bread with a fried egg and strips of bacon.
