Was live better some thousand years ago? When we lived in our tribes. Not working 50h a week, hunting animals, beeing one with the nature, no feminism, no diversity needed, no damaging this planet, etc.

You died by 30 from not brushing your teeth, that's if you managed to be the 1/5 children to actually survive infancy.

No thank you.
>>
i think it was pretty normal to die at 30.

you became a parent at 15. you died when you became a grandparent.
>>
The world you describe never existed.
>>
Life would have been simple and comparitively less stressful. Sure, you would have to work fucking hard all day just to eat, but the little good things in life things would be such a reward.

>Not working 50h a week
>being one with nature

You worked every day from morning until evening to provide food for you and your family while nature tried everything to kill you from droughts to harsh winters over several Diseases.

We tend to mystify the past while fading out the darker parts.
>>
I dont think you realize how many things were trying to kill you on a day to day basis OP.
>stub your toe
sepsis
>drink bad water
diphtheria
>fire goes out in middle of night
everyone freezes to death
it was a constant fucking meat grinder, we really do have it easy nowadays

Actually if you made it past infancy there was a good chance you would at least make it to your mid 50s.

The whole life expectancy of 30 thing is really only due to the high levels of infant mortality.
>>
Bondsmen were allowed Sunday morning off to go to church.

Face it, unless you were from a wealthy family life was difficult. Not much has changed.
>>
It was a very tough world, people was dirty and smelled bad. Everyone died young, and if you didn't, you'd wish you had. You'd have to eat shit, like, dunno, eating stale bread and nothing else(because there wasn't anything else to eat), getting sick all the time and since there was no medicine, having very big chance of dying every time you did. Also seeing your friends and relatives die would make you feel like shit. And warfare back then was horrendous, just imagine yourself getting your arm chopped by a battleaxe and then having to walk without your arm for miles till you found someone who could help you, that kind of shit happened.

Pretty fucked up it was, the only good thing they had back then is that existence was simpler, so you didn't have to worry about stupid shit like paying taxes or getting late to job.

That's not true. The life expectancy was 30, but that's only because child mortality was so high. Generally, if you made it past age 12, you had a good chance of living into your 60s or 70s. Maybe even longer if you were upper class.

>Not working 50h a week

You worked all the time, everyone was constantly in pain from diseases and accidents. And during tooth ache they just ripped the teeth out of your face without any anestetics. And you never washed yourself because if you washed yourself or brushed your teeth then you would be burned alive as a muslim.

Sounds like paradise compared to this nightmare.

actually there was a time during the winter when farmers didn't have to work in the field. They'd have like 2 o 3 months of not working there. But they'd usually use that free time for working somewhere else

Actually agriculture introduced the major energy-intensive labour like ploughing, tree felling, harvesting and planting. In places like Papua New Guinea, the rainforests in Africa and South America hunter-gatherers lived quite relaxed and stress free lives. Agriculture however allowed humans to colonise new lands because grain can be stored and seeds taken to new areas even after years. Of course arctic climates like northern Europe during the ice age were very attritional and hunter-gathering was very energetic hence why neanderthals were so rugged.

being all relaxed and shit made them dumber. Europeans and Asians had to think in order to survive, that's why they are smarter. It's a pitty that nobody wants to accept this, but in truth natural selection played a big role in the evolution of civilization. We are not equal, a nigger whose ancestors spent the last three thousand of years running behind antelopes doesn't have the same capacities as a white person who spent that time using and creating new technology. But that is the truth nobody wnats you to know
