In every other video I've seen where they do these experiments, it's always white people who help.
When they do experiments that's supposed to show how bad people are, it's always black people.
A few years back, feminists went out of their way to show how evil men were, so they had an "attractive" woman walk around New York in tight clothes. She was catcalled and followed by various men, and feminists used this as proof that men are all sexist and evil. What they didn't point out, was that every single man was black or brown.
They actually did a similar experiment in Oslo, and the same thing happened. A bunch of black and brown guys "harassed" her, but virtually no white guys did. But no one in the press actually commented on the issue of race, despite how blatantly obvious it was.

That's due to Protestantism. The result of it, where you interpret the holy book your own way, led to the delusion that is selfishness and self-gratification. Look at Anglicanism. Created by a monarch who defied the church because he wanted to divorce his wife. Also, the notion that you only have to believe (without acts) to be saved is one of the cornerstones of most Protestant faiths. And because of this, most Protestants sin their hearts out, then just ask for forgiveness on their deathbeds and they think that's enough. No self-punishment of any kind for most of the Protestant denominations to repent for sins committed. It's basically Christianity for lazy and selfish people. It's also not surprising that most atheists were former Protestants. I suppose the Protestants are banking that all they need is go back to believing in Him again before they die to be saved. Anglo whites are often Protestant or came from Protestant families.
Non-Protestant denominations of the faith (like Catholicism) strictly adheres to the bible's set interpretations which often urges giving/helping, even when you have nothing. It's also possible that the Maori faith promotes selfless acts.
So the conclusion is that the Maori is an adherent of their own faith or is a non-Protestant Christian convert, and more likely to help someone who is in need than an Anglo white who is most likely Protestant or an ex-Protestant atheist.
