There is nothing wrong with elevation certain people to positions based on race. You wouldnt want the person telling you about how Asians are faring in Nebraska to be Indian, you would want an Asian from Nebraska. The problem is when you split something up and say, we have 22% negros here, 22% of seats need to be negros. About a year and half ago Harvard had themselves a big ivy league circle jerk to congratulate themselves on welcoming their most diverse class ever, especially regarding black students. What they CHOSE to overlook however is that almost all of the black students they let in were either immigrants or children of immigrants from Africa and not descendants of slaves. They 'fixed' affirmative action to work for them. All these universities have to do is dump affirmative action and allow admissions based on nothing but merit and these problems will be over or otherwise mitigated very quickly.
