Most atheists believe in a subjective meaning. Some are Nihilist, but nihilism can follow equally from deism, as the existence of a divine creator does not bring inherent meaning to life.

The existence of a divine Creator *necessarily* instills meaning and purpose in life - Creation created for a reason.
