I am so conflicted by US politics right now.

For me the election is between Sanders and Trump. They are the only two honest, non-establishment candidates. I am a Sanders supporter. Not one of those phone banking regressive liberal cucks, but a lifelong Vermont resident who grew up with respect for the man and his values.

His campaign is sunk though, if we're realistic, and now I'm faced with voting for Donald Trump in the general election. I watched the AZ rally last night to see if he lives up to the internet hype. All he does is make promises and speak in broad strokes. He assured me over and over again it's going to be great, but not why or how. The website explains most of his policy positions pretty well, but I'm just worried we're going to usher in this meme billionaire president and get more of the same.

He told me it would be the greatest vote I would ever cast. I want to believe!!
>>
>the establishment are in full panic mode over Trump

>get more of the same.
What is it with vermont being fucking retarded?

boy are you going to be disappointed

Most likely Trump vs Clinton, Sanders is not running to win familam.
>>
Who knows what Trump would do in office? No experience, no fixed policies, lies constantly.

And I support him.

Look: you don't blow up the Death Star with the perfect weapon you may want, you blow up the Death Star with whatever you have handy. Right now that's Trump.

What I like about Trump is that he has property around the world that will increase in value if global prosperity and security increases. He's directly incentivized to sort things out. And based on the way he's laid waste to the American political system, he's definitely got the capability.

Perfect? Fuck no, are you kidding me? But getting the bull in the china shop is gonna be a great first step.

I remember the 2000 election.

Somebody else ran on tax breaks for all, guns, trade, and a stronger military.

But you wouldn't know because you weren't born yet.

>Sanders
>Honest

Fuck me. Have you actually listened to him? He is incredibly deceptive.

He straight up lies about Europe and Australia and socialist countries being Utopia for education and healthcare employment.

He lies because he knows most Americans have never and will never travel to those places.

He is literally the 'grass is greener' candidate, knowing full well that the rest of the world is just growing and mowing weeds.

Trump is at least pushing for MAGA. Recognising that America should return to being America instead of trying to be like the rest of the world.
>>
I hope Sanders runs third party to split the cuck vote
>>

Seriously, living in Vermont can skew your perspective on these things. I live in northern NH having moved from PA (not accidentally), and can say you don't have the problems in your state that are tearing the US apart.

If you want proof on Trump being reasonable, consider this: He spoke out against W and Iraq at a debate in South Carolina right before the primary. That takes cojones.

The man is the real deal and I suspect he'll reveal a lot more than almost anyone knows right about now.
>>

>He's directly incentivized to sort things out
Halliburton made $39.5 billion on the Iraq war.
There is plenty of money in fucking shit up, but I still see what you mean.

>>68119694
You might be right. I'm just speaking about where I'm at, right now in March. Like I said, I really want to believe Trump is the real deal but the GOP, including its 'renegades' like McCain, has hurt me too many times.
>>
>>68118374
Burlington is going to end up like Cologne thanks to policies of liberals. Why any Vermonter would support Sanders is beyond me

Sanders is a FULL BLOWN FUCKING COMMUNIST. It boggles my mind that any american would openly admit to supporting him. OP is as always, a massive faggot
>>
>>68118374
Sanders isn't going to win. His whole campaign is to make it seem like Hillary had to earn the nomination.
>>
>>68118961
I don't grt the analogy? What is the death star supposed to represent?
>>
The reason I'm voting for Trump is his stance against h1b abuse.
This is a massive deal for me.
He could eat a baby for all I care as long as he deals with h1b abuse.

That said, I tell everyone that his speeches are just populist shit to hype the plebs up. They mean nothing.
Just read the actual policies on his site.
>>
>>68122377
This. Sanders is there to make Hilldawg seem like the underdog so women will get out the vote.

But the GOP treating Trump like shit is making him the 'underdog' instead.

Still I see a decent percentage of Sanders voters who are more interested in fucking over the status quo as their second most important issue after 'free shit, lol'. Unless they believe the ridiculous lies, they have no reason not to vote Trump.
>>
>>68118374
Sanders can not win, especially at this point.
It was set up so Hillary could win the nomination.
That is the only reason there are super delegates.

The election is between Trump/Cruz/Hillary
>>
>>68118374
>Sanders
>Honest
Dude pretended to be libertarian to get elected.
What exactly is there to respect about him? Not getting a job till 40 years old? Actively trying to Turn America into a shit hole because he's too idealistic in thinking he can create a utopia with a tried and failed method?
>>
Remember sanders is leading in every remaining state except 2, personally think sanders and trump will be fucked at brokered conventions and have to join together for a independent run,.., and before anyone says Bernie wouldn't remember they share more policy than any other 2 candidates...
>>
>>68118374
Also, Trump says he is going to do lots of things, looking at his past we have no reason to believe he won't try to do them. He has a huge ego, and he loves trying to do the hard/impossible.
>>

Doubt it. If Trump doesn't win the nomination, he'll run 3rd party and basically cause hillary to win
>>

I used to be a Cruz missile, but if Trump gets the nomination I'm voting for Hillary.

Trump has to be stopped. Stupid and angry is no way to run a country.
